Chetan joined IDFC AMC in March 2019. He is a Quantitative Portfolio Manager and Data Scientist with about two decades of experience in quantitative analysis and in building trading models for global markets. In his earlier avatar, Chetan co-managed a global macro hedge fund which traded global bonds, equities, FX and commodities using futures and options. He specialises in machine learning and extracting information out of data for prediction. Chetan holds a PhD in Computer Science (specializing in multi-agent systems for financial markets) from the University of Southampton.
